About us

Philipp is part of the management and a member of the Academy's leadership team. He mainly teaches the basic concepts of anthroposophic medicine, its scientific foundations and implications for a holistic understanding of the human being. He enjoys empowering participants to put these concepts into practice. He himself is guided by the question "How do I find the good?". To this end, he is involved in patient care, education and social work. What makes him special is that, as a leader, he focuses on equality, a sense of purpose and team-based self-organization. He brings these "new ways of working" to the Academy and his department.

Philipp works as head physician for internal medicine at the Arlesheim Clinic and is on the board of the Society of Anthroposophic Physicians in Germany.

Robert (Dr. med.) is part of the management team and is responsible for the cross-section of remedies in all training courses.

Studied medicine in Hamburg, Berlin and Malaga. Neurological specialist training at Heidenheim Hospital, teaching hospital at Ulm University and Charité Berlin. School doctor at the Vienna Waldorf School, emergency doctor diploma (AT), certification as an anthroposophic doctor (DE, AT, CH), specialist in neurology and member of AGAN, since 2017 at the Arlesheim Clinic: specialist outpatient clinic and consultant. Since 2021 parallel research activity at the Institute for Complementary and Integrative Medicine IKIM at the University of Bern.

André manages the office and coordinates the Academy's strategic development and finances. He takes great pleasure in realizing and shaping ideas and projects that serve the Academy and its students as well as cooperation with the surrounding community. A holistic approach to medicine and society is particularly important to him.

Judit is a member of the leadership team of the Arlesheim Academy and co-leader of Foundation Studies. She is coordinator of the International Coordination of Anthroposophic Medicine (IKAM) of the Medical Section at the Goetheanum. She is a specialist in general internal medicine at the Ita Wegman Outpatient Clinic in Basel. Judit is enthusiastic about the therapeutic possibilities of anthroposophic medicine and is also passionate about international teaching and networking.

Rebekka is a nurse on the psychosomatic ward at the Arlesheim Clinic and a specialist in anthroposophic care for the entire clinic. She is part of the management team at the Arlesheim Academy and a board member and lecturer at Soleo, the Academy for Anthroposophic Nursing in Switzerland. She is passionate about people and how they can be cared for and supported in times of illness and crisis - at the level of body, soul and spirit.

As a member of the management team, Severin (Dr. med.) is responsible for training in knowledge of nature, understanding of remedies, anthroposophic pharmacy and therapy. He is also involved in the "Social Workshop" in order to provide participants with awareness and tools for their effectiveness in the social sphere. He is passionate about designing therapies for patients that take into account the overall reality of the person. He works as a senior physician in internal medicine and is the founder of the Hospital at Home department at the Arlesheim Clinic. In addition to his clinical work, he is President of the Swiss Hospital at Home Society.

Rob is a member of the management team at the Arlesheim Academy and represents the eurythmy therapy/eurythmy area in Foundation Studies and is part of the team designing the concept for Foundation Studies and the Clinical Case Course. Rob takes great pleasure in successfully integrating eurythmy therapy into the collaboration with other medical disciplines. Rob works as a eurythmy therapist at the Arlesheim Clinic and the Ita Wegman Outpatient Clinic in Basel. He works as a teacher at the Arlesheim Academy and the Alanus University in Alfter. As part of the joint publication "Rudolf Steiner's indications for eurythmy therapy", he and Norman Kingeter hold international workshops to deepen eurythmy therapy methodology.

Michelle is co-director of the Foundation Studies course and organizational head of the Academy's newly introduced international and interprofessional case study course. She studied International Health Management at the Swiss Tropical and Public Health Institute. Michelle is convinced of the significance and importance of integrative medicine and loves working in an international and interdisciplinary environment.

Johannes (Dr. med.) is a member of the management team at the Arlesheim Academy and is responsible for medical training and curriculum design for Foundation Studies. In the study program, he teaches the scientific foundations of anthroposophic medicine. The combination of philosophy, art and spirituality is close to his heart. He works as a senior physician in internal medicine at the Arlesheim Clinic. As co-editor of study commentaries on Rudolf Steiner's medical work, he holds the senior professorship for medical anthropology at the University of Witten/Herdecke.
