From medical training to academy

The "Ärzteausbildung Arlesheim" was founded in 2016 with the aim of realizing a systematic, contemporary and practice-oriented continuing education in anthroposophic medicine for students and physicians. The project was launched with an introductory seminar in the fall of 2016, and the first two-year medical training program began in the spring of 2017. There was also great demand from interested parties from other health professions. Thus, the interprofessional introductory seminar was added in spring 2020. In the next step, the "Foundation Studies" offering went online. This international, interprofessional foundation course in English and German has been available since 2022. And it continues: from 2024, the international offering will be supplemented with the practice-based "Clinical Case Course".
This diversity of offerings and the broadening target group have now led, after seven years, to the merging of developments in an "Academy Arlesheim for Anthroposophic Medicine".
